ATMOS GEAR Atmos Rider Pack White Sky
AtmosGear is a jewel of technology designed by Riders FOR Riders. It's a 3-wheel frame with an electric engine on the middle wheel that you can put on any skate boot with 165mm, 195mm, trinity or UFS mounting!
Top speed at 25km/h for 25km range
Each turntable weighs just 700g more than a traditional roller.
You can skate even when the battery is flat
Rechargeable when skating (+15% autonomy)
1H for full charge when plugged in
AtmosGear has designed the world's smallest and most powerful motor:
Directly integrated into a 110mm Roller wheel
Enough torque to climb a 15° slope and support 120kg
1 motor per plate (middle wheel)
90A hardness for improved acceleration and wheel life
Interchangeable rubber to prevent wear
You control the electric Rollers using a wireless remote control: accelerate, slow down and brake with a simple thumb movement. When you release the trigger, the motor freewheels and you skate just like with normal Rollers. You can also activate reverse gear and check the Rollers' battery level using the controller's indicator lights.
Why the bag? If you haven't taken part in the Atmos Tour de France, you're probably wondering why they've deported the battery into a pannier. There are 2 reasons:
Weight: with a battery in each skate it ended up with 3.5kg per foot. Electric cinder blocks.
Handling: to place the battery in the middle, they extended the plate and removed the middle wheel. Impossible to take turns, real rails at your feet.
Thanks to the community, Atmos came up with the idea of the Backpack, which was tested during the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and the conclusion was unanimous. It's exactly as easy to handle as a freeskate, and so light that you can skate both electrically and manually
Bag: contains a waterproof case with battery and controller. The case weighs 1kg and has 2 Plug & Play connectors. You can use the case as normal when you're not skating.
Cables: 2 detachable cables let you connect the bag to each skate to power it. You're free to plug in 1, 2 or none if you want to work up a sweat. The cable runs along the back of your leg and doesn't wander, thanks to the supplied thigh strap.
